Meet The Band

No matter how talented an artist may be, they are still only as good as the band behind them. Sonny Burgess is blessed to be able to travel and perform with some of the best in Texas.

Born and raised in the Dallas area, Bryan has played guitar in bands since high school covering Rock, Jazz, Blues, Country and everything in between.   From traveling the Southwest playing guitar in a Top 40 Country band (opening up shows for George Strait, Keith Whitley, Steve Wariner, T. Graham Brown and many more), to working in the production side of the industry (mixing monitors for a regional sound company, working with artists such as Burt Bacharach, Eric Clapton, Merle Haggard, etc.), Bryan has been involved in many facets of the music business. Recent years have found him working with Texas singer/songwriter Chris Rivers (as part of the Gilley's Dallas official house band), as well as a stint playing guitar on tour with country music star Doug Stone.

As part of the Sonny Burgess band, Bryan says, "I've known Sonny for quite some time and have always loved and respected his work as a musician, singer, songwriter and all-around nice guy! After so many years of friendship, getting to play music with Sonny is truly a highlight in my musical journey...what a band!!!"
